Grading Scale
M (Mint)
Perfect condition. Sealed or absolutely flawless. Extremely rare for vintage items.
NM (Near Mint)
Almost perfect. Very minimal signs of handling or play. Clean sound with no noticeable defects.
EX (Excellent)
Light signs of use or very minor cosmetic wear. Plays beautifully with minimal background noise. Commonly used by European collectors and sellers.
VG+ (Very Good Plus)
Well cared for item with some light signs of use. May show light scuffs or hairline marks that do not significantly affect playback. A highly collectible and enjoyable copy.
VG (Very Good)
Noticeable signs of wear and use. Surface noise or visible marks may be present, especially during quieter passages, but the item remains fully playable.
G / G+ (Good / Good Plus)
Heavily used item with obvious wear, scratches, noise, or damaged packaging. Still playable but mainly suitable as a filler copy.
F / P (Fair / Poor)
Significant damage, heavy wear, skips, or major defects. Usually considered collectible only for rarity.
